1. JOSEPH BASTIEN was the son of Joseph Bastien and Marie Madeleine Dupuis was born on August 3 1823 at Maskinonge Quebec , and died April 15, 1859 in Sorel or St Marcel Quebec. He married ZOE TETREAULT November 07, 1843 in St Aime de Richelieu Quebec. She was born in 1826 at St Hyacinthe Quebec .

Zoe brought her family to tha area of North Adams Massachusetts where she remarried Peter Merriam .

2. JOSEPH BASTIEN was born March 1853 in Canada, and died 1936. He married (1) CARRIE LAPIERRE December 27, 1874 in Williamstown MA. She was born September 1849 in Canada. He married (2) Minnie ? Joseph was probably married a third time but I have yet to see evidence of a third marriage .
