Jean Francois Regis Vanasse and Josette Messier were married on September 15 ,1829 at St Michel Yamaska .

1. Alexander married Marguerite Lasalle in 1856 at St Michel and they immigrated to Helena Montana .

2. Jean Olivier married Isabelle Anne Frapier after he immigrated to Chapeau Chichester County in western Quebec .

3. Benjamin married Adeline Verrier in 1858 . His children immigrated to Rhode Island And Connecticut primarily West Warwick RI and Waterbury CT.

4. Pierre immigrated to Pierce County Wisconsin and married Virginia Akers in 1866 at Spring Valley .

5. Joseph immigrated to western Quebec and settled around Chapeau Chichester Quebec .

6. Marie Elide married Olivier Arel . Their children moved to Willimansett Massachusetts .

7. John immigrated to St Paul Minnesota .

Children whose families migrated to the United States

A. Pierre Celestin Vanasse and his wife Celina Melanson were married August 3 ,1829 at St Michel Yamaska . This family immigrated to Northampton Massachusetts .

B. Olivier Vanasse and his wife Elmire Beaudreau were married July 23 ,1878 at St Louis de Bon Secours Richelieu . They too immigrated to Northampton Massachusetts .

C. George Vanasse and his second wife Melice Lacourse . Their marriage date is unknown . They immigrated to Bristol Connecticut . George was first married to Philomene Fluette .

D. Louis Vanasse married Louise Amyot August 7 1867 at Berthierville .They did not immigrated to the US . Their children did and settled in Bristol Connecticut .

1. Amadee married Elise Daignealt in 1901 at Bristol CT.

2. Eugene/John married Eveline Lafrance in 1909 at New Bedford MA and settled in Bristol CT .

3. James married Marcelline Boucher and settled in Bristol CT .

E. Thomas Vanasse and his wife Rose Leblanc were married in 1878 . She was his second wife . This family appears in the 1880 census for Norwich Connecticut but it appears that they returned to Quebec .

D. Edouard Vanasse and Marie Alma Dumaine were married August 30 ,1880 at St Guillaume Yamaska . They settled in Waterbury Connecticut .

E. Rosalie Vanasse married Adelard Dauphinais and settled in Northampton Massachusetts .

Pierre Marie Vanasse and Catherine Hebert were married February 26 ,1832 at St Michel Yamaska

A. Jean Baptiste Vanasse and his wife Leodina Deserre were married February 12 ,1872 at St Guillaume Yamaska . They immigrated first to Fall River and then to New Bedford Massachusetts .

Their son Avetus and Georgiana Robert his wife settled in Dover New Hampshire . Ovila settled in New Bedford with his wife Leontine Gadoury . Antonia married Zephyr Caron and lived in Fall River .

B. Pierre Vanasse married Emelie Moreault around 1860 . To my knowledge they stayed in Canada . In 1901 they are at St Bonaventure Yamaska . Their son Hormisdas married Cordelia Tessier in 1875 at St Bonaventure and they immigrated to Fall River Massachusetts and then to Claremont New Hampshire .In turn their son went to West Haven CT .

C. Alexander Vanasse married Philomene Verrier on July 27 ,1857 at St David Yamaska . Alexander immigrated to Cambridge Massachusetts .

Alexander , his son , married Mathilde Roussin in Biddeford Maine in 1879 and then in 1891 his cousin Philomene Vanasse in New Bedford where he finally settled .

A Frank married Henriette Adam in 1894 in Chicopee Massachusetts .

B Marie Olive married Octave Beaudry in 1871 in Holyoke Massachusetts .

C John married Cordelia Jette in 1885 in Chicopee . In the 1900 census they are in Springfield Massachusetts . In 1920 they are in New Haven CT and they ended their days in Cambridge Massachusetts .

D Henry married Edwige Ducharme and settled in Northeast Connecticut . In 1900 they are in Killingly and they finally settled in Putnam CT .

E Marie Jessie married Pierre Bessette in Agawam Massachusetts .

F Marie Jeanne married Richard Casey in 1888 in Chicopee Massachusetts .

G David married Nellie Toohill in 1887 at Chicopee Massachusetts .
